A gait analysis-based imbalance early-warning method is performed using a wearable device, which is worn on the user’s limb part and includes an inertial measurement unit, a processing unit and an output unit, and includes: the processing unit obtaining a perturbation angle threshold corresponding to the user based on acceleration data that is obtained by the inertial measurement unit during continuous multi-step walking of the user; the processing unit calculating a perturbation angle of the user’s limb part per unit time based on angular velocity data obtained by the inertial measurement unit while the user is traveling; and the processing unit determining whether the perturbation angle is greater than the perturbation angle threshold, and causing the output unit to generate a warning output for indicating imbalance when it is determined that the perturbation angle is greater than the perturbation angle threshold. |
